Our Services
Legal Videographers
Why present your case through legal videography?
The advantage of video is that it enables you to observe a deponent during testimony – capturing their reactions, pauses, and facial expressions. We only use broadcast quality, high-definition video cameras and high-gain microphones, because we understand that the smallest details can make the biggest differences in negotiations and court presentations.
Our legal videographers adhere to the strict standards set by the National Court Reporters Association.
Digital Reporters
Alongside our videographers, our digital reporters (DR) record depositions and legal proceedings verbatim, using the most sophisticated technology available. This includes two audio backups, a laptop, audio mixer, and software that identifies speakers and allows real-time notetaking. In tandem, DRs mark exhibits, ensure accurate spelling, monitor the volume and quality of the audio, and write short-hand notes. Where the notes are time-stamped to the audio, we enable quick and easy access to playback, upon request.
Since digital reporters are notary publics, they are authorized to swear witnesses in under oath.
Our In-Person Teams are Proud to Serve:
Miami, Florida
Los Angeles, California
Our Remote Teams:
Whether you choose to work with our in-person or remote team, you can count on the same quality of service in our legal videography and digital reporting.
Where ~1,100 stenographers retire each year and only 200 enter the field (The San Diego Union-Tribune), one of our goals is to help address the critical shortage of professionals throughout the United States.
What Happens Next?
For legal videography jobs, we record, edit, and transcribe depositions and legal proceedings and then send you the final version in an MPEG, USB, and/or DVD format.
When it comes to digital reporting, DRs handle exhibits in the same way as stenographic reporters, including marking, managing, and tracking custody. It’s important to note that DRs do not transcribe or alter the captured proceedings in any way. Audio and notes are sent to an experienced legal transcriptionist, or certified short-hand reporter, who will then use the media to create a certified verbatim transcript.
Whether you need a legal videographer or a digital reporter, our hand-picked team of industry professionals offers the highest quality in-person and remote services.

Meet The Founders
James Koralek
James grew up in Redondo Beach, California and went on to graduate from Biola University, with a degree in pastoral leadership (MDiv). Together with his wife, James launched Veritas from the ground up in 2017. At that time, James had to wear many hats to propel the business forward; now he devotes the majority of his time in managing the team with integrity and preserving the quality of the name Veritas embodies.
A missionary at heart, James has been part of and led mission trips to Egypt, India, Zambia, South Africa, and Mexico. There, he has helped to build homes, shelters, ran youth camps for kids in orphanages, taught from the Bible, and distributed medical supplies. For 7 years, James also worked as a youth pastor and spiritual director.
Outside of managing Veritas, he enjoys surfing, camping, and eating picanha.
Thrissia Koralek
Although she was born and raised in Brazil, Thrissia moved to the United States at 16 as a foreign exchange student and mastered the English language. In 2015, she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in public health sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Thrissia assumed many roles within Veritas as she equipped potential hires. Her roles ranged from teacher, public speaker, accountant, and quality control manager.
This experience taught her the value of leveraging diverse teams, and she aims to bring a similar perspective to medicine as she works with multidisciplinary teams to provide high value care to patients.
Her passion for public health and medicine has led her to Nova Southeastern medical school, where she is balancing her commitments with managing new hires aspects of Veritas.
Veritas Works towards a Higher Purpose
"Across much of the developing world, unclean water is an immensely greater threat to human security than violent conflict. Sadly, children’s vulnerability makes them the greatest bearers of this tragedy. Each year an estimated 2.2 million children die from diarrhea and 443 million school days are lost to water-related illnesses. Most notably this crisis could be prevented by the provision of three fundamental foundations of human progress: delivering clean water, removing waste water and providing sanitation." (WWFA)
Veritas believes that every person deserves access to clean water. That's why part of our profits are redirected to build water wells in rural Africa.
Veritas Needs Partners Like You
